Server Environment

• Server Operating System Linux (other Unix systems and Microsoft Windows on request)
• Server with min. Pentium 100 and 64 MB RAM
• Apache HTTPD. Other servers may be supported, but not tested
• Program's client uses standard CGI-interface (ISAPI as an option)
• Program's application server is either a program, a system service or a daemon.
• SSL for secure connections supported (requires security certificate and SSL-compliant server, like IIS 3.0, Apache-SSL or Stronghold)
• Transaction-based database, based on Web-Box
• The system makes constant backup files of the database. These files are not open, thus can be saved, even if the server is running
• Hot backup option, so an identical database is stored on two different physical locations

Client Environment

• Netscape 2,3,4,6 IE 2,3,4,5,6 under Windows 95, 98, NT, Linux, Macintosh (Netscape only in non-Windows platforms) tested
• No frames or cookies necessary for basic functionality.
• Support for client side security certificates for VPN functionality
• "Back" key is functional most of the time (and supported).
